Surprise Big Bear Proposal

The Erickson duo is officially engaged! Matthew reached out to me after asking his future father-in-law for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Matt knew he had to have a Big Bear Lake proposal when he said yes!

These two love birds were walking down the pathway, looking at the snow surrounding them, while Matthew planned something BIG. They stopped to look at the view on the wooden bridge, and that’s when it happened; the surprise Big Bear proposal! He hugged her from behind, as was our signal, and then pulled out a blue velvet ring holder. He got on one knee and beamed up at her, asking her the question she had been waiting for. “Will you marry me?”

She was so surprised that she gasped, making a whispy cold air swirl. (Which I caught on camera, and it’s so adorable!) She said YES.

During the session, they laughed and giggled even when I asked them to bear with the cold and roll around in it, which they were game for! They were in a blissful state of happiness, which really shines through the photos.
