On a glorious day with clear blue skies, I had the honor of photographing a proposal at Big Bear Lake. The rugged mountains loomed in the background, the lake sparkled in the distance, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of pine. With a little guidance from the groom to be, I chose a picturesque rocky outcrop, surrounded by nature’s beauty, making it the ideal stage for their special moment.

As I found my spot, I watched the proposer kneel with the ring catching the sunlight. The surprise and joy on the partner’s face were unforgettable—hands covering her mouth, tears of happiness glistening. I captured every emotion: the nervous excitement, the overwhelming love, and the silent promise of a lifetime together, all set against Big Bear’s stunning landscape.
